Every Fortnite Sprite extraction broadcasts your position. Expect third parties to converge on the beam — especially in mid-circle when rotation paths cross popular Sites. Extract during off-peak moments: early storm before squads finish looting, or after you clear immediate angles.
Portable Extractors (covered below) exist precisely because Site extractions are loud. Use them when you have a Level 4–5 Mythic equipped and cannot reach a Site safely. Routine Rare extractions can use Sites normally — the risk-reward favors banking cheap Sprites early rather than dying with them.
If the storm forces a late extract, carry heals and watch for storm sickness. You can fight through zone damage briefly, but extraction calls should not happen inside a dying ring unless you have a clear exit.
